SugaringLA was founded to provide clients with an elevated, more effective treatment for hair removal, and is now set to upend the beauty industry. Using all natural, organic products, sugaringLA uses the traditional method of sugaring to remove hair with a modern twist. We value care and are looking for a Studio Manager that can contribute and foster this value each day in our studio.
WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR
We’re hiring a Beauty Studio Sales & Experience Lead for our Santa Monica studio to help drive the performance and energy of the studio through a strong focus on sales, strategy, client experience, and team accountability.
This is a leadership role for someone who understands the importance of numbers and knows how to create an engaging studio experience that supports both the team and the business. You’ll be responsible for maximizing service and product sales, guiding the team in client education and conversion, and maintaining high visibility through studio content and review generation.
You’re proactive, solutions-oriented, and confident in keeping the studio on pace—while making sure every client and sugarist feels supported.

Required Skills
- 2+ years in a customer service or front desk role (spa, salon, or wellness preferred)
- Strong communication and sales ability—especially in rebooking, membership, and product education
- Organized, proactive, and capable of tracking performance goals weekly
- Confident using Instagram and other platforms to represent the studio professionally
- Experience supporting or mentoring team members in a results-driven environment
- A strong sense of ownership and follow-through
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the front-of-house flow with a focus on client service, efficiency, and retail presentation
- Track weekly sales goals: service, membership, retail, and rebooking performance
- Actively monitor individual sugarist performance and coach based on metrics
- Own the studio’s review strategy (Google, Yelp, etc.) and maintain weekly review goals
- Capture and post brand-aligned content to the studio’s social media accounts
- Help onboard and support new staff to maintain performance and operations consistency
- Collaborate on community outreach ideas and studio-level marketing initiatives
- Participate and lead in team meetings and bring forward ideas that support both culture and revenue
