Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a Licensed Esthetician who has beauty industry experience and enjoys working with people. We are a small, supportive team and have a client first culture. We are looking for someone who works well with others but can also work independently, and understand the importance of skin care education and client experience. We're looking for someone who is motivated, growth-minded, upbeat and passionate about natural skin care.
Day to Day Sugaring and Facial Services
- Master sugaringLA’s Smart Sugaring Technique, elevating the hair removal experience to give every body the individualized service they need to feel confident.
- As a sugaringLA certified Sugarist, go beyond the surface to set the standard for lasting service and earthly care, the sLA way.
- Once fully trained the esthetician will begin taking paying clients for sugaring, bikini glow and facial services
- On a daily basis work to ensure the studio is a calm and inviting space for your coworkers and clients.
- Manage your sugaring and facial room, keeping with cleaning standards, protocol standards and generally making sure the room is inviting and comfortable for clients.
- Educate clients on Earthly Care memberships, pre/post skin care routines utilizing Earthly Care products, and other sugaringLA sugaring services.
Day to Day Front Desk & Studio Operations
- Greet and communicate with clients in a professional, high energy and friendly manner; answering phones, monitoring client text messages, client emails and in person client interactions.
- Maintain client schedules; booking appointments, rescheduling appointments, confirming appointments and answering client questions
- Keep on top of client leads by calling, texting and emailing with a goal to convert the lead to a new, happy sugaringLA client
- Follow sugaringLA client experience process including but not limited to rebooking, selling products, selling memberships and encouraging referrals and reviews.
- Manage daily MBO tasks, troubleshooting issues with MBO if needed or escalating to Studio Lead or Studio Owners
- Keep retail shelving clean, stocked and organized
- General studio upkeep, daily cleaning (front and back of house), maintaining restrooms, and client room opening and closing duties
Required Skills & Attributes
- Active Cosmetology or Esthetics license in KS
- Customer service focused, cares for clients and team members
- Has reliable transportation & strong work ethic
- Initiates self-learning and is comfortable with educating clients on products and services offered
- Can follow detailed instructions and take feedback to foster growth
Compensation will include hourly pay + commission on services + monthly bonus opportunities!
(staff also enjoys one free sugaring service per month and 40% sugaringLA products)
Starting Hours: 20-30 hours / week
