Job Summary
We are seeking a licensed Massage Therapist to join our new wellness spa. As a Massage Therapist, you will tailor massage treatments to your patient's individual needs and health goals. The successful candidate will be proactive, goal, sales and action oriented, knowledgeable in a variety of massage styles, possess a deep knowledge of human anatomy and the musculoskeletal system, and work well as part of a new and growing holistic wellness team.
Responsibilities
- Assist with developing, testing and enhancing body work protocols
- Perform a variety of massage and body treatments
- Educate clients on the services and products offered as well as the therapeutic benefits of regular massage therapy
- Maintain accurate records of each session
- Schedule, confirm, and cancel appointments
- Build relationships with clients to assist them with meeting their wellness goals
- Ensure a clean and safe facility
- Complying with all applicable standards, rules, and regulations.
Qualifications
- Hold current state license and liability insurance to practice massage therapy
- Capable of performing deep tissue, Swedish, lymphatic drainage, pain relief, and maternity massage modalities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strongly service oriented with an ability to communicate effectively with clients in a one-on-one setting
- High level of ethics and integrity.
- A passion for helping people look and feel their best.
- Dual Esthetics license is a plus but not a required
