Sales and Marketing Specialist- Overland Park, KS (part-time)

SugaringLA was founded to provide clients with an elevated, more effective treatment for hair removal, and is now set to upend the beauty industry. Using all natural, organic products, sugaringLA uses the traditional method of sugaring to remove hair with a modern twist.
We’re looking for an energetic individual that is looking to jump start their sales career in the organic skin care space! The part-time Sales and Marketing Specialist will have the opportunity to directly impact studio growth by building awareness of the sugaringLA brand, identifying and attracting new client leads, and ultimately driving first-time visitors (FTV's) to our brand new downtown Overland Park studio!
Responsibilities
- Partner with owners to build and maintain a proactive sales and marketing plan
- Engage new potential client leads through networking events, influencer events, community and industry events, social media tactics, and grassroots sales efforts
- Calling, emailing and DM’ing potential future sugaringLA clients
- Developing and nurturing pipeline of leads, from both inbound and outbound sources
- Creating engaging content and managing studio’s presence on multiple social media platforms
- Building and managing social media influencer relationships
- Creating and nurturing relationships with other local small businesses
- Supporting the assistant manager with front desk responsibilities including greeting clients, answering client calls/emails and scheduling clients
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- 4 year college education preferred, local universities preferred
- Strong proficiency with technology and excellent knowledge of social media platforms
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Desire and ability to engage with and build relationships with potential clients effectively
- Established local KC network and social media presence highly preferred
- Confident, energetic and outgoing communication style
- Desire to learn and grow!
Hours and Expectations
- Hourly position + commissions
- Part time 25-35 hours (flexible depending on candidate)
- Work time will be spent in studio (front desk), out in the community, at events, and from home as needed
- The sales and marketing specialist will need a reliable laptop to work from when working outside of the studio
